The focus will be on different types of offline marketing: Telemarketing, Event Marketing, Billboard Marketing, T.V. and OTT Marketing, Radio Marketing, Door-to-Door Marketing, Vehicle Wraps, and Direct Mail Marketing with Online Advertising being just one small section in this course!

Marketing 101 for Graphic Designers

Marketing 101 for Graphic Designers Marketing MasteryWhether web, graphic, or motion designer, you need to understand marketing if you’re a designer. Between content strategy, positioning, branding, and everything that goes into doing a design project, you must have a foundation around the marketing side. So I decided to break it into two sections, Offline Marketing and Online Marketing. We’re gonna start with eight videos in offline marketing first because that’s where I got my foundation. That’s where it all started for me.

Offline Marketing Mastery

I started out doing offline marketing before I learned to become a business owner and an entrepreneur, and then I began learning about online marketing. We’ll go through this in detail and, once we’re done, and you’ll be a professional marketer who can implement what you’ve learned to your own company as well as the businesses of your clients.

Offline marketing is going to assist you a lot. It’s going to make you more money, it’ll save you a lot of time, and it’ll help you streamline and expand your business. The ability to drive in additional leads for yourself is a significant aspect of scaling. Therefore the eight items I want to discuss first are offline marketing tactics such as telemarketing, events, billboards, television advertising on mobile devices, and over-the-top radio. Vehicle wraps and similar mobile billboards will also be covered. So those are the eight I’m going to be doing in offline marketing.

Online Marketing Mastery

So for the online marketing, there are eight videos I’m going to do. The first one is email, which can be tricky but also highly effective if done right. The second one is paid or pay-per-click advertising, whether Facebook, Google, Yahoo, or whatever platform you prefer. Then, after that, you have social media, which covers multiple platforms again.

You have SEO and SEM, which are constantly evolving as algorithms change. There’s also podcasting, which is similar to radio and TV advertising. You’ve got video marketing which you see on YouTube primarily, but there are also other platforms out there, and you’ve got content marketing that includes blogs and web copy and ties into the others. So those are the eight online to go with the eight offline, and this is what we’re going to be talking about over the next 16 videos.

Why Create Marketing 101 for YouTube?

Marketing 101 for Graphic Designers Marketing MasteryIn addition to creating this 16-video series, we’ll also be doing some other exciting things on YouTube, including celebrating our fast-approaching 10,000 subscriber milestone. I share this not to brag but to show that the Marketing Mastery series is valuable information. After using the techniques I’m going to cover in these videos, the Adrian Agency channel has risen from 50-60 subscribers two years ago to nearly 10,000 subscribers now.
